Fireplaces are an important component of culture

The most primitive fireplace was the central fireplace of the Saxon era. That type of stove is made of simple mud and stone slabs stacked in the center, and smoke is emitted through the openings in the roof and gaps in the house. With the emergence of this type of central fireplace, people no longer gather around bonfires but on both sides of the fireplace, symbolizing further development of civilization.
