As with photographs, you could display your artworks in a range of different ways, from large feature pieces hung above the fireplaces, to smaller artworks dotted around the space.
You can also use the colours and depictions of the artwork to create different effects, too. For example, your chosen artwork could feature your chosen accent colour (and so further enhance this colour scheme), or you could display artwork of natural scenes, to achieve the same impact as adding plants to the fireplace.
